⚾ UKCYBSA Player Code of Conduct

Upper Kittitas County Youth Baseball & Softball Association

At UKCYBSA, we believe that playing baseball and softball is about more than just winning games β€” it’s about becoming a great teammate, learning responsibility, and growing through sport. This Player Code of Conduct helps ensure every athlete contributes to a safe, respectful, and positive environment.

All players are expected to read and follow the rules below throughout the season.

🧒 As a UKCYBSA Player, I Agree To:

βœ… Show Respect to Everyone
I will treat my teammates, coaches, umpires, opponents, and fans with respect β€” both on and off the field.

βœ… Practice Good Sportsmanship
I will play fair, follow the rules, and be a gracious winner and loser. I will not argue, taunt, or show poor attitude.

βœ… Work Hard and Try My Best
I will show up ready to learn, give full effort at games and practices, and strive to improve my skills.

βœ… Be a Positive Teammate
I will encourage others, include everyone, and support my teammates whether we win or lose.

βœ… Follow Coach Instructions
I will listen to my coaches and follow their direction. I understand they are here to help me grow as a player and a person.

βœ… Respect the Game
I will take care of my uniform and equipment, hustle on and off the field, and play the game with integrity.

βœ… Keep a Great Attitude
I will handle frustration without blaming others, and I’ll ask for help if I need it.

⚠️ Conduct Violations May Result In:

  • A warning or conversation with the coach

  • Removal from part or all of a game

  • Suspension from practices or games

  • In serious or repeated cases, dismissal from the league
