Coach Expectations & Responsibilities

UKCYBSA coaches are expected to:

• Lead with positivity, fairness, and respect

• Foster a safe and fun environment

• Promote player development over competition

• Communicate clearly with parents and staff

• Represent UKCYBSA with integrity on and off the field

• Follow all league rules

 Coach Onboarding Requirements

All UKCYBSA coaches and volunteers must:
✅ Complete a background check (link will be sent upon selection)
✅ Complete abuse prevention training (required by Babe Ruth League)
✅ Sign our official Coaches Code of Conduct:

Once selected, you’ll receive onboarding instructions via email including links to all required forms and training.

 Mandatory Coaches Meeting

A Coaches Meeting will be held before the season begins.
This meeting will cover:

• Division-specific rules & expectations

• GameChanger setup and use

• Practice scheduling & field assignments

• Safety protocols and player conduct

Meeting date and time will be shared with all approved coaches via email.
