Team Communication, Rosters, and Scheduling — All in One Place

UKCYBSA uses the GameChanger app for all team communication, practice/game schedules, and roster management. GameChanger allows coaches to message families, track attendance, post updates, and manage the season with ease.

 Why Use GameChanger?

• Automatic import of rosters and schedules from Sports Connect

• Real-time communication with players and families

• Push notifications for game changes, rainouts, or field updates

• Game scoring and live updates (optional)

 Getting Started: Download GameChanger

Before importing your team, download the GameChanger app on your device:

• 📥 Download for iPhone (App Store)

• 📥 Download for Android (Google Play)

🔄 Importing Your Team from Sports Connect

You can import your team, roster, and schedule directly from Sports Connect if the following are true:

✅ You are using the same email address in both Sports Connect and GameChanger
✅ Your team’s roster is posted on Sports Connect
✅ You are listed as a volunteer (coach or team admin) for your team on Sports Connect

🔧 How to Import Your Team

1. Open GameChanger and sign in using the same email linked to your Sports Connect account

2. Tap Create Team or the "+" icon

3. Choose "Import Sports Connect"

4. If prompted, tap “Open Email App” and confirm your email

5. Once verified, select the team(s) you want to import

6. Tap “Import” in the upper corner — you’ll see the import status at the bottom

🔁 Automatic Updates & Manual Re-Import

• Your schedule and roster will update automatically in GameChanger when changed in Sports Connect

• ⚠️ Games marked “Postponed” or “Rescheduled” in Sports Connect will not sync automatically — you must manually re-import your schedule if changes aren’t appearing

📊 Game Results & Scoreboard Widget

• Games scored in GameChanger will not sync back to Sports Connect

• Use GameChanger to view results directly
