UKCYBSA Parent Code of Conduct

Upper Kittitas County Youth Baseball & Softball Association

 We believe that youth sports should be a safe, supportive, and character-building experience for every player. To help ensure a positive environment for all involved, we have adopted the Sport Parent Code of Conduct.

👨‍👩‍👧 Your Role as a Sports Parent

Parents play a vital role in reinforcing the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. The behavior you model from the sidelines helps shape your child’s attitude toward the game, their teammates, and their own growth.

All parents are required to read and sign the Parent Code of Conduct before their child may participate in any UKCYBSA activities.

⚠️ Conduct Expectations & Consequences

We expect all parents and spectators to:

• Show respect for players, coaches, officials, and other spectators

• Refrain from yelling, arguing, or using inappropriate language

• Let coaches coach and officials officiate

• Encourage your child with positive reinforcement only

• Keep the focus on fun, learning, and teamwork, not just winning

If a parent is found engaging in improper conduct during games or practices:

• They will be asked to leave the facility immediately

• They will be suspended from attending the next scheduled game

• Repeated violations may result in longer suspensions or removal from attending any games for the remainder of the season
